San Francisco Elopement on Film - Kulveer & Preet

PHOTOGRAPHY BY STEFANIEMPHOTO

For this one, I did want to take a little time to write a prolog. This day was so so special. I’ve found one of my favorite styles of wedding photography is making the civil ceremony a special adventure for my couples. Kulveer and Preet were getting married in Mexico with a traditional Punjabi ceremony and asked us to come shoot their civil ceremony in San Francisco. The day was perfectly catered to fun.

With most of my brides, I love to express to them how special and unique they can make their days. Kulveer and I texted for months about outfits and moodboards. Overall, she gave me the reigns to find unique locations and activities to highlight their love. Often with larger wedding planning, the bride is so overwhelmed with having to make every decision so for the civil ceremony, I love the trust they put into me to choose locations and ideas and take some of the planning and heavy lifting off their shoulders. After flying in the day before to scout San Francisco locations, we were able to go to some absolutely fun spots after their beautiful intimate ceremony. Ending the day at sunset after a famous Irish Coffee toast at The Buena Vista Bar, the day was magical. Elopements are meant to be fun and this day was just that.
